Christmas Truce in the Trenches 2016
Mark Your Calendar: 10 am – 11:30 am Saturday, December 10
Journey back to 1914 to witness a reenactment of the World War I Christmas Truce. Re-enactors will also take visitors on a tour of the decorated trenches, play a game of soccer, sing carols, sip hot chocolate.
Barb Kronau-Sorensen performs traditional German, English and Norwegian Christmas songs as a
sing along!
Admission cost: $10 per person. Pre-registration is required by Wednesday by calling 815-397-9112. Please note that this program will take place outside. Dress appropriately.
